Peter Westlake came to the US in 2011 to start his love affair with diagnostics and with San Diego! As part of a diagnostics and pharma business, he worked on multiple new products, launches, acquisitions and disposals. In 2019, Peter and Larry Mimms led the spin-out of ProciseDx from Prometheus Laboratories.

Prior to moving to the US to, Peter was part of the Switzerland team that created Nestlé  Health Science, working in finance, strategy and acquisitions.  This followed several Head Office financial roles for Nestlé .

As well as experience in US and Switzerland, Peter has worked in the UK for 15 years.  He has a background in accounting (Ernst & Young) and investment (Deutsche Asset Management, Prudential). He holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University and is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.
